Our salon is architecturally designed and conveniently located amongst the bustling boutique end of the Lygon Street precinct in Carlton. It is a strong reflection of who we are and our style philosophy – contemporary yet subtle, confident and bespoke.
All guests are warmly greeted upon arrival and offered an extended service time as standard. This ensures our team of exceptionally talented stylists have sufficient time to provide each guest the attention and care they deserve while enjoying a freshly ground coffee or brewed tea of choice. Post consultation, all guests are invited to relax in our reclining massage shampoo lounges while enjoying a complimentary scalp massage.
As hair health experts, we specialise in hair restoration and repair without compromising on style by using and recommending professional only products matched with a personalised treatment plan to maintain the style and health of your hair in-between visits.
We are inclusive and have a gender neutral approach to our service pricing – hair is hair after all. In addition to being community minded, we are conscious of the impact salons have on the environment and have up to 95% of our waste collected and sustainably disposed through our partnership with Sustainable Salons Australia. This was recognised once again by LUX-Life Magazine awarding us the 2020 Enviro-Excellence Award for Sustainability.

Zowie
Creative Director
30 years’ experience across the UK and Australia has provided Zowie with a number of opportunities to nurture and develop her skills to become the well-regarded Stylist and Educator she is today.
In the UK, Zowie developed her career from a Salon Stylist to Education Director at Toni&Guy’s Marylebone Academy in London before relocating to Melbourne and opening Zowie Evans Hairdressing.
Her attention to detail is second to none and is evident by the salon experience, skill of the team and the quality of each guests hair. It’s this unwavering commitment to quality that has afforded Zowie the luxury of following her own path and presented opportunities to work at Melbourne, Sydney and New York Fashion Weeks for well regarded brands such as Chanel, Zambesi, Alex Perry and Sass & Bide.
Zowie has held education roles with product brands Cloud Nine and Morrocanoil, travelling across Australia and New Zealand training industry professionals in the latest techniques and product advancements.
A passionate and conscientious thought leader, Zowie is also an EDVOS Ambassador and can be seen or heard across mainstream media and throughout the professional hair industry proactively raising awareness of the HaiR-3Rs program. The free training program enables Stylists to identify the signs of gender inequality and family violence and help women that may be facing violence or controlling behaviour at home.
